About me
My Journey
I grew up playing club volleyball in Portland before competing at Long Beach State, where I played three front row positions, earned All-Conference honors, and served as team captain. I also competed on LBSU’s beach volleyball team and played in the open division in Southern California.
Off the court, I pursued my passion for the mental game, earning a B.A. in Psychology and an M.S. in Sport Psychology. I’m also a certified yoga teacher (200hr), mindfulness instructor, and somatic researcher, integrating movement, breathwork, and nervous system awareness into my coaching.
For the past three years, I’ve studied how yoga, mindfulness, and somatics can enhance athletic performance. After a year of traveling and learning from global teachers, I feel called back to volleyball—to bring these tools to the next generation of athletes.
My Philosophy
Throughout my career, teammates often asked me how I stayed so happy, healthy, and stress-free. The truth? There was no single answer. It was the little things. Hydration. Sleep. Nutrition. Stretching. Journaling. Meditation. Watching film. Finding balance with friendships and passions outside the sport. I believed in showing up as a whole athlete, not just a performer on game day.
What Makes My Approach Different
I don’t just focus on improving volleyball skills or teaching traditional sport psychology techniques. I take a holistic approach, analyzing every area that impacts performance, including mindset, habits, recovery, movement patterns, and overall well-being. My goal is to help you build a foundation that supports sustainable success on and off the court.
